Privacy Policy

Kitchi is operated by Zack Yuan, an individual based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. In this policy, “Kitchi,” “we,” and “us” refer to Zack Yuan. You can reach us anytime at hello@playkitchi.com.

• Waitlist signups. When you join the waitlist, we collect the first name and email address you enter.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.
• Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request.
• Visit statistics. We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits and page views in aggregate: which pages are viewed, the site that referred you, and your country, browser, operating system, and device type. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't identify you personally, and doesn't follow you to other sites.

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

• To send you updates about Kitchi, such as when it launches.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To keep the site running and secure.
• To understand how many people visit and which pages they read, so we can improve the site.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We use a few services to run Kitchi. They process your information only to provide their service to us.

• Formspree receives and stores waitlist signups (privacy policy).
• Vercel hosts the website and provides our visit statistics (privacy notice).
• When we start sending launch updates, we may use an email service to deliver them, and we'll share only your name and email address with it for that purpose.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

We keep your waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or we no longer need it to tell you about Kitchi, whichever comes first. Vercel keeps hosting logs for a limited time under its own policies.

You can ask us to:

• show you the information we have about you,
• correct it,
• delete it, or
• stop sending you emails.

Email hello@playkitchi.com with your request and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also stop getting updates at any time by replying to one of our emails.

Some state laws give residents specific privacy rights. We honor the requests above for everyone, wherever you live.

Kitchi's website isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us their information, email us and we'll delete it.

The site is served over HTTPS, and only the people who run Kitchi can access waitlist information. No way of storing or sending data online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect yours.

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the effective date above.
